I'm back
I left Louisiana several weeks before Hurricane Katrina. I'm still getting some emails from friends down in Baton Rouge, and it sounds like just a really terrible situation down there even in Baton Rouge. 100,000 refuges from New Orleans, and very few places for them to go. I hope and pray that blessings will come out of this national nightmare.
After leaving Louisiana, I went to Graceland again with my Mum. (I had already been there on the way down to LA with my sister). Randomly I ran into Shawn, my x-boyfriend and his mother in one of the rooms of Graceland. We chatted for a couple of minutes, it was good to see them, then we moved on. I'm brainstorming now on the next random trip I can take somewhere in the world so I can run into another x-boyfriend or two. It's always fun to catch up. I'm taking suggestions. The more exotic the better. It will make the blog entry all that much more exiting.
I'm back in Wisconsin now and am writing the paper I didn't finish this summer. I am also doing a lot of job investigations. I need to grow up and be an adult soon, so my goal is to have a career choice locked in by next summer when I turn 30.
There won't be as many posts as there have been in the past. I have a lot to do in order to graduate so I am having to prioritize. Anything amusing or important I'll be sure to post.
